Mr.George Roshan had sent in a request that he be given a list of names and addresses of all PHCC members to help him circulate a new nature magazine. After discussion it was concluded that some members were uncomfortable about the circulation of the list because of computerised advertising and other dubious publicity campaigns. Several ideas were raised. Mr.George Roshan was asked whether he could get fliers printed which would then be circulated in the next communication to all members. This would give them the required information. It was also suggested that in the next PHCC Newsletter, the information about the forthcoming nature magazine coulb be Publicised. Mr. George Roshan was agreeable to use these methods of Communication. 3. It was brought up that Mr.N.Raghavan** be used to sell produce such as plants, saplings etc. He will be attending the next PHCC Executive Committee meeting in July. The President requested the General Body to bring up matters causing concern which could be dealt with by the PHCC. A discussion on how to deal with forest fires took place. The DFO was applauded for his work on fire fighting. It was generally felt that more education to both tourists and Villagers should be given on the dangers of fire, and that signs to prevent people throwing lighted matches, cigarettes and bottles should be more common on the roads. The Summer Festival was suggested as a good place to educate and publicise local problems. Street Theatre groups coulb be invited for the next Festival. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the Chair. (Pippa Mukherjee) Secretary
